Marta González González is Associate Professor of Greek Philology at the University of Málaga, Spain. She researches the literature, history, and mythology of the ancient Greek world. She has also an ever-growing interest in gender violence in Ancient world. Her recent monographs are Achilles, London-New York: Routledge, 2018, and Funerary Epigrams of Ancient Greece. Reflections on Literature, Society and Religion, London: Bloomsbury, 2019. She currently supervises PhD students working on projects relating Greek tragedy.
Nuno Simões Rodrigues holds a Doctorate in Letters, specialising in the History of Classical Antiquity and is a Professor at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon. He is a researcher at the Centre for Classical and Humanistic Studies at the University of Coimbra and at the History Centre at the University of Coimbra. He has worked in the areas of Greek culture and the political history of Rome (1st century).
