Mónica Durán Mañas holds a PhD. in Greek Philology and Indo-European Linguistics from the Complutense University of Madrid. She is currently a Lecturer at the University of Granada. Her research interests are focused on Hellenistic and imperial literature and early Christian literature, being her main topics the study of women, Ancient Greek teaching and learning and ancient Greek medicine. The article “El vocabulario de la sección de las venas en los tratados sobre la flebotomía de Galeno”, Panacea 48, 232-239, and the book Galeno. Sobre la flebotomía contra Erasístrato. Sobre la flebotomía contra los erasistrateos en Roma. Sobre la curación mediante la flebotomía, with introduction, translation, notes and indexes, Madrid: Ediciones Clásicas, are among her latest publications.
Inmaculada Rodríguez Moreno is PhD. and professor of Greek Philology at the University of Cadiz (Spain). Her research area is focused on Greek Philosophy, especially on Neoplatonism (demonology), Greek literature and Greek music and ancient Greek medicine. She has published several papers and has participated in various national and international congress. Among her latest publications, it is important to mention the followings: “La reacción cristiana ante el Κατá½° χριστιανῶν de Portirio de Tiro”, Euphrosyne 44 (2016), 239-252; “Eros y Thánatos en Camilo José Cela: Oficio de Tinieblas 5. Una visión a través de los mitos clásicos”, Humanitas 71 (2018), 99-118, and “Antecedentes clásicos en la estética musical de Rodrigo Sánchez de Arévalo: Vergel de los príncipes” Euphrosyne 46 (2018), 221-241.
