Joshua R. Hall holds a PhD in ancient history from Cardiff University, UK. His doctoral research examined the ties between warfare, social power, and state formation in early Italy. Since completing his degree, he has published on numerous topics, including war and religion in the Etruscan and Greek worlds, and has a number of books forthcoming. He is currently an instructor of history at various institutions in the United States.
Jason Morris is an ancient historian who focuses on the fields of science, technology, technical literature (particularly the Corpus Agrimensorum Romanorum), geography, and Roman imperialism. As the first congenitally blind person to complete a PhD in classics or ancient history in more than twenty years, Jason is also very interested in the issue of accessibility to classics, ancient history, and archaeology for people with disabilities. Jason was granted his PhD in ancient history by the University of Leicester, UK, in 2016. He holds an MA with distinction in classics from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, and a BA magna cum laude in classics and archaeology from Dickinson College, USA.
